Review: 100 Snowflakes To Crochet
November 15, 2012
Ok, so my crochet is getting a little bit better but hardly an expert. When I received a copy of 100 Snowflakes to Crochet
by Caitlin Sainio from St Martin's Griffin, I figured it was as good a time as any to work on crocheting.
There really are 100 different snowflake patterns to work with. Some are definitely more advanced than others. I tried to start a few but my frustration set in and unraveled the whole thing but I didn't give up. I was determind to share a snowflake that I created.
After all the patterns, the book shares some great ways to incorporate your snowflake in different designs.
And finally, here is my attempt making a snowflake. Not bad for my first time doing something that's not a scarf or blanket. As someone who continues to struggle with a simple Granny Square, I'm pretty happy with how this came out. I think I may hang it on my Christmas tree. :)
