Guest Post: Fashion With Halloween Flavors

Today we have a guest post from Fashion blogger Erin at Accidentally Stylish w/ S.S. Milk.  She's bringing her sassy self over to the blog to show how we can use some of our favorite flavors of the season to style an awesome outfit.

Hello Lovely Pulp Sushi Readers!! Allow me to introduce myself, I am Erin a.k.a S.S. Milk from Accidentally Stylish w/ S.S. Milk. This month I have been given the pleasure to guest post in Pulp Sushi's October Bash Blog Party. I am so excited to meet each and every one of you and I hope that you find this post to be fun, inspiring, and a bit quirky (much like me).  :)

So Fall is officially here and I couldn't be happier. The changing of the leaves, drop in temperature, and increase in layers have me giddy and excited for my favorite season. Of course my birthday is in the Fall (hooray for Scorpios), but that's just the icing on the cake--more like whip cream on the freshly baked pecan pie. Speaking of pecan pie I have been inspired lately by the flavors and fragrances of autumn. Personally, I think one should always take inspiration from the things that make their heart flutter. One of my major inspirations happens to be food. So to honor some of my delectable treats this time of year, I have selected a few outfit pairings that hopefully do my favorite goodies justice. What are my sinful treats you ask? Allow me to elaborate.

I'm a strong believer in that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but a candied that's a horse of a different color. I mean come on, a crisp green apple is already delicious, but add a patent red candy coating and I am walking on sunshine!
I love candy, but it seems like this time of year I can't get enough of the "artificial" corn. If it was up to me, it would be part of the vegetable food group. It qualifies in the way it looks and the name. Who says you can't have a sweet, delicious veggie and eat it too? I swear, it's like dyed sugar crack--I can't get enough!
When it comes to pie, the ultimate decadence for me is pecan pie. There is just something about the crunch of the pecans and smooth texture of the filling that makes my heart sing with autumn joy. Sure it's sweet on the lips and mean on the hips, but I love it anyway. For a dessert, it is one smooth criminal.
October is such a fun and inviting month with the beginning of fall and a spooky-licious holiday to boot. From the ever changing foliage to the faces of carved jack o' lanterns, this month I hope you take inspiration from what moves you....or at least makes your stomach growl when you see it.
So which of these outfits do you identify with? As much as I love Pecan Pie, I'm kinda loving the Candied Apple set. :)
