Looks like the start of July is already better than June sales-wise. I reached 300 sales!!
But I digress, I'm done celebrating and ready for 301, 302....you get the idea. I'm really excited to announce that I *finally* ordered some boxes for my items! Yes, no more little baggies in padded envelopes, now you will get little baggies in gift boxes in padded envelopes. Just one step closer to being all professional and stuff. :)
I do have to get something off my chest that has been bothering me. I mentioned previously that one of my sales in June had to be refunded. The reason for this was I sold a pair of stud earrings to someone and when they received it, they were damaged. The post came right off (and I use E6000 glue!!!!) while in transit. This is one of the reasons why I ordered boxes finally, I wanted to for a while, but I was just waiting for the money to spare. I felt really bad because it's not like this package went that far. The Postal Service is sooooooooooo horrible. So they notified me of what happened and they asked for the money back.
I don't have a return policy in my shop, I prefer to do it on a case by case basis. This is only the second time someone asked for their money back on one of my items. Hopefully this won't happen too many more times. Do any sellers wish to share what they do when something like this comes up?
