I am VERY excited to have received a book in the mail yesterday for a Venus review. I flipped though it and it looks super fun. I can't wait to dive in and get lost in the project How To's.

On my new quest to finding non-Etsy forums to promote, I learned last night at the monthly {NewNew} team meeting about a new publication and website called Craft Stylish.

I did not hesitate to set up an account. I know, there's SO many sites to join I can't keep track of what username and password is for what! Do I already have an account there? ACK!!! I guess I just like the newness of Craft Stylish, oh the opportunities!

I seem to have skipped a week with the Flickr goods. It's been a hectic couple of weeks.

So it's a new month and I'm wondering should I even have May goals for my shop? It seems like every month I set a goal (ie: # of sales/# of hearts) but then I forget what they are midway though. It's because I don't write it down! April has been a good month for me - the free shipping offer helped.

I'm not surprised.

He was pretty much destined to win it.  He wasn't one of my favorites but he had the backup for all that talk I suppose.  I can appreciate his work from an artistic point of view, the boy's got skills.  Bluefly.com has a nice collection for getting his winning look. But I think "Manhattanite" sums it up best at Gothamist (see the comments). Seriously, what does Posh Spice really know?????  I think Rami & Jillian did much better.

Overall, I still like Chris' final lookthe best even though he wasn't a finalist - human hair and all!

Colors have been inspiring me more and more and I have loved photography ever since I was in junior high school. This is such a fun flickr toy to play with. You can look at an image on it's own and appreciate it but when you group it with other unique photos, it almost takes on a whole new look.
