Project Runway Recap
STELLA!!!!!!!!!
I'm sad to see her go, although I'm surprised she lasted this long. To do well on this show you really have to go outside of what you are use to doing and designing and she just didn't budge. I happened to like a lot of her Rocker/Letha looks, especially that leather jacket she was wearing last night. It was black with pink lining, I WANT THAT!!! Bottom line is she dresses rockers and she should just stick to that, nothing wrong with that!
Since we're mourning the loss of Stella, ok maybe only I am, here is the outfit that did her in...
The challenge was to design an outfit for Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2008 collection inspired by Marlene Dietrich's 1948 film A Foreign Affair where she is an actress/singer/spy who escapes Berlin to Shanghai and then heads to New York. Pretty cool right? My first thought was Kenley was going to flip her lid, which of course she did into a blubbering mess....who is starting to get on my nerves too. From afar, this outfit may look ok but the judges thought it was poorly made, but I get the idea of it. Oh well, not a bad attempt I think.
Leanne won her second challenge in a row, GO ETSY!!
Maybe it's my crappy television but I thought this dress was more Eggplant but this picture is looking blue. Anyway, I agree with this decision and I'm glad Kenley didn't win. Poor Joe, I'm worrying about him, I have a soft spot for him.
On the shop front, a new necklace was added today:

Argh. I don't have cable and I usually don't miss it much, but then I read a review of PR and I feel so out of the loop.
I really like the winner's outfit... is Leanne an etsian? That's awesome...
Oh and I love your new necklace.

i'll miss stella too, but somehow i don't think the type of person who dates a guy named ratbones is destined for an apprenticeship at banana republic.
