I made a new banner for the Etsy shop to tie it in with the new shop, I think it looks fun! :)

I need make up new widgets to also reflect the new image I'm working on. Lately I've been drawn to old carnival/circus imagery and that's why in the new shop I describe Pulp Sushi as a pop-nostalgic collective sideshow of handmade goods and accessories because that's the direction I'd really like to be headed.  And Pulp Sushi is such a crazy name, why not? :)

Snow Birds

It's been a couple of months since I put together a Flickr Favorites, and I can't seem to get this snow out of my head. There has been a storm coming through every week since the day after Christmas.

The cardinals are my favorite.   Snow is very pretty when it's falling, it's so quiet and peaceful but after a couple of days as it gets dirty and turns to slush, bleech!

I was one of the Crazies that jumped at Verizon's offer to pre-order the iPhone last week. Well needless to say, I can't keep my hands off of it and the Instagram app is extra awesome. Do you like my tiny Buddha? He along with another version of him keeps me company at the office during the day. Do you like the way this image looks? This app lets you filter your images to look weathered and older. It adds more charm and character to any image. Like this picture I took last night outside my parents window. Reminds me of 1970s New York.

Halloween Sweets

Other than go out to dinner Saturday night, my weekend was pretty "blah". It was kind of depressing actually, was in a really funky mood. Looking back, I wish I had gone out with my camera and taken some pictures of the leaves changing colors, it's really pretty up here. Damn, why didn't I think of that on Saturday? Well, whose to say my other half would have been up for it.  But I hate wasting days like that.

Oh well, it's a new week and I have stuff to work on! I have a necklace that I have made but I'm debating on whether or not I should post it online. I'm also thinking about doing something special next month to kick off the Holiday season.  Have a nice week!

We ♥ It - Candy

I'd like to leave you something sweet for the weekend. Who doesn't like a good piece of candy?  My sweet tooth is on 24/7.

Today is my boyfriend's birthday and this weekend I had a whole big thing planned for him but the place I had reserved got shut down by the city! Who plans for that?!!? So Plan B it is! Mike is Mr. Privacy so I won't go into details of the goings on but it'll be good times, good food and good friends. Have a nice weekend everyone!

We ♥ It - Books

There are some technological gadgets I will kindly embrace, but call me old-fashion when it comes to books. I still love them and I love having them take up space on my shelves.

Very much forward to the weekend. I am going to attempt something I've never tried before - bake a pie! Tomorrow I am going to attend my friend's 3rd Annual Pie Party and I promised myself that this year I will bring a pie (and not just eat everything).  I will share the outcome next week if it was a success or a disaster. *fingers crossed*

Things are starting to get interesting on Project Runway.  Some of my picks are still hanging in there - Seth Aaron & Maya.  Seth had one annoying moment but I think out of all of them, I have consistently liked his outfits. I'm liking Jonathan more and more too. Only 7 designers left and I'm looking forward to watching it tonight.

I finally scored some green nail polish just in time for St. Patrick's Day. It's a bit out there but I love it and everyone raved about them in the office.

For this week's Flickr Favorites, I wanted to focus on a color again but this time I thought a combo would be nice to see and immediately, without any explanation, blue and yellow came to mind so I went with that.  That last shot makes me thirsty.

365 recap for February

Oops!  I should have posted this a couple of days ago but better late than never.  I made a mosaic of my Project 365 shots for February. 

Quite a few pictures of snow. I kind of hated February to be honest.  The only good thing about it was starting my new job.  March has been off to a slow start and I haven't been able to upload but I have been shooting.

Flickr Favorites - Multicolor Madness

This week's Flickr Favorites is brought to you by the color ALL! I am in a playful mood, isn't this fun? I need the pick me up after the walk I just had getting to the office today.  The sun is out but everything is wet, slippery, slushy and grey.

I may, or may not, have gotten this idea from Modish's "C is for Color" inspiration post hee hee! How can you not be inspired by color? Even moreso with the cold weather. A little brightness can warm you up.

Flickr Favorites - Red Contrast

Last week I tied a theme to my Flickr Favorites, which was kinda fun so I would like to continue that this week.  As I prep this post it is actually a bit cold, dreary, messy, kind of gloomy looking outside.  So I looked for images that reflect that mood with a pop of color, in this case, RED!

And speaking of red, my Gumball Ring sold and it now relisted in my shop.

I am so looking forward to tomorrow. I am taking a day off from work and I plan to stay home, work on some jewelry, maybe post some new items, and just get myself together for my next show. Craft show season is fast approaching and applications are starting to become available for some of the big shows (ie: Renegade, Art Star).  I'm still shooting for at least one in-person event a month. I'll be adding more dates over in the right column under "Events" and on my event listings.

I was surprised this morning to wake up to SNOW! I wouldn't have minded so much if I was staying in for the day and not have to get to the train station to catch the 7:44!  This is the first winter where I've become quite fed up with the snow, no mas!
