Wearwithall: Knits For Your Life is a new book written by five friends and collaborators sharing thirteen knitting projects that provide classic and useful designs that are timeless and practical. A short book at 56 pages, it contains intricate instructions and beautiful photography by Gale Zucker. All of the materials used in this book are from The Yarnery in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Despite what they say in the Introduction, this book really isn't for beginners. I'm not sure it's even for semi-still-beginners like myself. I would recommend it for the more advanced knitter. While they provide charts and how-to's that can be altered, unless you are familiar with terms like "k2tog, wyib, k1p2", you'll be finding yourself referring to their Appendix quite a bit. Most of the instructions are written in Knit Short-Hand.
I totally want to make a table runner as part of my Holiday decor. That much I think I can handle. The materials used in the book can be purchased online at www.wearwithall.com and follow their blog too for more knit project ideas.
