As promised, I wanted to post about my experience last weekend selling at The Quirky Holiday Handmade Bazaar. We got up bright and early to hit the road. It was a beautiful morning and the ride up to Rhinebeck was smooth. It took us about an hour and 20 minutes to get there.
When we arrived I poked my head in real quick to be greeted by Leah from Go Monkey Designs who put the event together. She gave me a big hug for all the goodie bag materials I collected for her. We set up pretty quickly and I was good to go!
I absolutely loved the space we were in and everyone was very nice. It was a pleasure to be there. The day went super quick. More photos were taken which you can check out in the my Flickr set. Sales were ok and the traffic was steady. I did better at this show than when I did the Brooklyn Indie Market a couple of weeks ago. That's how it goes, some shows will be really great, other's so-so, and others in between. One more show to go this Saturday!
