The Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center will be lit tonight and we are in full swing Holiday season! What I enjoy the most about this time of the year is the decorating. Sure, you drive by some houses that may go a bit overboard with the lights and the inflatable snowmen in the front yard next to a Vegas lit Nativity scene, I'm not talking about that.
The folks at Decorative Country Living got the spirit and are offering cozy cottage-like decorations for your home. This is more my speed. I LOVE the photos they post for their online store. Enjoy!
Have you seen on Heart Handmade, Marichelle has put together The Handmade Holiday Zine.
It is in three parts which you can download for free or preview at http://issuu.com/hearthandmade. The Zine includes an inspiring collection of stories, wishes, tips, recipes and gift ideas from some of the talented people who've contributed to Heart Handmade in 2008.
No, I did not forget to share The {NewNew} giveaway this week, also keeping the Holiday theme going...

Love those votive holders, very chic, very sophisticated, and they would fit in just about any house!

This is just lovely! I really like the red balls hanging from the mantle. I must say, I wasn't much for Christmas decorating this year until I saw this. :) Thanks!!

I love the tin houses with the candle inside. I'm on such a house kick lately, I just want to take all my craft supplies and make mini-houses to display everywhere.
