Marilyn P Sushi

I'm Marilyn, a native New Yorker, a yoga fiend, a fan of horror movies, and 100% caffeinated.

Pulp Sushi was first on Blogger but I made the switch to Typepad in November 2006. Originally, I wanted my blog to be another satirical website about what's going on in the world from celebrities to politics and everything in between. I quickly learned that I just don't have enough interest in Britney, Paris, and Lindsey to bother, unless you pay me...well. Instead I went down a different route and made it more personal and focus more on what really interest me.

Primarily, there's promoting my Etsy shop where I'll announce shop updates. I have fallen hard for jewelry design and making and that is the direction life has taken me. I try to keep my pieces fun, bold, and kitschy for the young and young at heart. You will also find buttons, magnets, and other fun accessories.

Next there is my overall love for crafts and the DIY culture and Interior Design. I love to write about other artist and designers. Regular features like "Show Me Your Wall" and "Friday Etsy Finds" are a chance for me to show that.

My other passion is yoga but I keep a separate blog where that is the focus over at Cupcakes & Yoga. Yeah, I keep myself busy. I love to write. Speaking of which....
